In December 2018, the report on the Development of Education Expenditure of China 2016 , jointly compiled by the Center and the Finance Department of the Ministry of education , was officially published by China Statistics Press .

The book is divided into ten chapters, a total of 190000 words, in 2016 introduced the macroscopic background of the development of the national education funds and the overall achievements, on the basis of the report on China's Economic Statistics Education Database, focusing on the national and local as well as the condition of education investment and expenditure of all types and at all levels and the efficiency of the comprehensive and systematic comprehensive comparison and analysis, objective reflection and evaluation of the provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) government education investment and guarantee degree of efforts and progress, and education for all levels of government fiscal policy to provide important reference basis.
