According to the requirements of “the Notice on Organizing and Carrying Out the Investigation of Statistics of Education Funds” issued by the Finance Department of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, the center sent five teachers, including Professor Zhao Nan and Dr. Tang Jun, to participate in the investigation team of statistics of education funds headed by the relevant leaders of the Finance Department of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, and visited Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Guizhou and Shaanxi provinces from June 10th to July 5th to investigate the Statistics of Local Education Funds. The leading comrades in charge of financial and statistics of educational funds of the local competent education department accompanied the investigation.

After listening to the report on the development of statistics of local education funds, the research team went to the basic-level, consulted relevant materials carefully, understood the financial situation of all kinds of schools at the basic-level, the development and management mechanism of statistics of education funds, and discussed the areas that need to be improved in the management system of education funds and the statistical work of education funds, as well as the local experience and experience in this work methods and other aspects were sorted out and summarized, and finally reported to the relevant leaders of the financial department.

The teachers of the Center have compiled and distributed "Questionnaire on Teachers' Employment Status" in various schools of the investigated provinces and cities, in order to reflect the opinions and voices of front-line teachers in the aspects of professional development, salary and treatment, to provide effective consideration for relevant departments to implement relevant policies on Teachers' salary and treatment and social status promotion, and to accumulate research basis for relevant academic research, and finally collect more than 10000 questionnaires, and they will be used as the basis of data analysis and research.

The survey lasted nearly a month before and after the event. Eight provinces and cities including Beijing, Tianjin and Shanghai were visited and investigated. Researchers from the Center participated in research activities in five of the regions.
